Language takes an important role in our life. It is as a communication tool. In our country Indonesia, which is consisted by many differents island, tribes, art and culture. Every islands have their own language. One of that is Bali island. Bali island is located beside the Java island. The original tribe of Bali island is Balinese. They have their original language that is Balinese language. Balinese people do not only live in Bali, They spread in all over provinces in Indonesia, including in Lampung Province. The Balinese people spread in many area of Lampung, such as Seputih Raman, Seputih Mataram, Tulang bawang, Way Jepara, Tri Darma Yoga, Darma Agung, Wirata and etc. Most of the Balinese people still use their original language in communicating in their daily life. So that is Why the writer, do not need to go to Bali to analyse about baby talk in Bali.

The subject of this analysis is a little girl, named Ni Ketut Novi Andini and her Mother named Ni Ketut Sumsri. They live in Darma Agung, Seputih Mataram distric, Central Lampung. The writer tried to record the convesation between Ketut Novi and her Mother.
The record consists of 3 occasions, they are conversation between Ketut Novi and her Mother, and then her grandmother came, and then she talked with her 5 year-old brother.
Here is the transcripts pf the record:
1. First ocasion, conversation between Ketut Novi and her mother, she was going to have lunch.
Ketut : “ Mek.... maem...seduk “
Mother : “ Maem maro san adek maem, kok ben jani maem?”
Ketut : “ o..o ”( ketut nodded)
(her mother was feeding Ketut)
Ketut : “ Mek ngenceh adek pok”
Mother: “ Ngenceh? Nah mo nak e ke kamar mandi, adek bani kan kedidi, Memek ngatehen seng kan adek bo keleh”
( Ketut run to the toilet to have a pee, and then she continued her lunch)

2. Second ocasion, her grandmother arrived

Komang : “ nah... yen wake meleli sud Mang Alya e o dek o”
Ketut : “ o ..o, yuk wi, jani kemo..”
Komang : “ yuk nak e”
Ketut : “ yuk”
Based on that three ocasion, we can conclude that the Characteristics of Baby talk by Pica (1994) are true. We can see from the transcript above that, when Ketut said something, the words she was used are simpler and only a chunck of words. The sentences are very short and not in a complete sentences. There are differences when Ketut spoke to her mother and her grandmother she was tended to be shy to speak, but when she spoke to her brother she was tend to be brave to speak.
